A new confectionery tie-in for the film Takopi no Genzai -Arigatou, Mata Ashita- has been announced. Titled Nani ga Ataru ka~ Wakannai ppi~ Biscuit, the product pairs biscuits with one random bonus item: a clip, a rubber, or an acrylic charm.
The item is scheduled to launch in February 2027 at candy sections of mass retailers and other outlets nationwide. It is priced at 350 yen, or 385 yen including tax. There are 15 bonus types in total, and buyers will not know which one they have until opening the package.
Sparkly Gem-Style Bonuses
According to the announcement, the clips and rubber items use a clear, gem-like design with glitter. The acrylic charms also feature a sparkling look. The bonus remains a surprise until the package is opened.
From Shonen Jump+ Hit to Award-Winning Anime
The original Takopi no Genzai manga is by Taizan 5. It was serialized and published on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ manga app from December 2021 to March 2022. Despite its short run, it recorded the highest number of views among works running at the same time. The two-volume series has surpassed 1.4 million copies in circulation and placed third in the Men’s category of Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2023.
The anime adaptation arrived in June 2025 through a collaboration between TBS Television and ENISHIYA. Although it was a streaming-only series without a terrestrial broadcast, each new episode trended on social media and became a social phenomenon. It won the top prize in the anime category at Filmarks Awards 2025, received seven nominations at Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026 including Anime of the Year, and won the Jury Award in the TV series category at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2026.
Film Re-edit and Theatrical Run
The film Takopi no Genzai -Arigatou, Mata Ashita- re-edits all six episodes for theaters and adds new scenes. It will open at Shinjuku BALT 9 and theaters nationwide.
