The ninth entry in the Initial D Zippo series, titled "Super Battle," is now accepting preorders. The 150-piece limited model uses laser engraving to depict Fujiwara Takumi and the Hachiroku on the front and a heated battle scene from the manga on the back.
Initial D Zippo Vol. 9 "Super Battle"

Initial D is a manga by Shigeno Shuichi. Set on mountain passes, it follows protagonist Fujiwara Takumi and other street racers as they take part in intense battles.
The new item is an officially licensed Kodansha product in the Initial D Zippo series.
The Zippo has a glossy black nickel finish. The front is engraved with popular artwork of Fujiwara Takumi and the Hachiroku, while the back is laser-engraved with an intense battle scene from the manga.

By using laser engraving rather than printing, the champagne-color matte artwork stands out against the glossy body. The contrast between the glossy and matte textures is also a feature of the design. The body uses brass manufactured by Zippo in the United States.

Production is limited to 150 units, and each Zippo carries a serial number. The numbers are assigned at random. Preorders are being accepted on the CAMSHOP.JP sales page.
