About “Sousou no Frieren”
For those who might be new to the journey, “Sousou no Frieren” is a critically acclaimed anime based on the manga of the same name. The series is serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday (published by Shogakukan), with the original story by Yamada Kanoto and art by Abe Tsukasa. It’s a global phenomenon, having sold over 32 million copies worldwide.
The story picks up in the aftermath of a classic fantasy adventure—after the Demon King has been defeated. It follows the millennia-old elf mage Frieren. Triggered by the death of her former companion, the hero Himmel, she embarks on a deeply personal journey to understand the human heart and the passage of time.
