About Jidou Hanbaiki ni Umarekawatta Ore wa Meikyuu wo Samayou
The anime adapts the comedy fantasy light novel series penned by Hiru Kuma. The story originally began its life on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website back in March 2016. Kadokawa picked it up for publication under their Sneaker Bunko imprint in August of the same year, featuring illustrations by Katou Itsuwa. The third and final volume of the light novel was released in February 2017 in Japan.
A manga adaptation, drawn by Kunieda, started serialization in Dengeki Daioh magazine in August. Kadokawa released the second compiled volume of the manga in March 2023.
For English readers and collectors, Yen Press holds the licenses for both the light novel and the manga. They released the third and final volume of the light novel in December 2018, while the manga’s second volume shipped in March 2024.
