Gorgeous ‘Demon Slayer’ Character Portrait Bath Towels Release New Waves!
Beautifully illustrated, full-color print “Portrait Bath Towels” from the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba have gained new additions: the “Hachi (Eighth Wave)” with 7 types and the “Kyu (Ninth Wave)” with 3 types. Featuring characters like Kamado Tanjirou and his companions, as well as the Upper Ranks demons Akaza, Douma, and Kaigaku—who are also active in the recent movie—these are now available for pre-order on “Premium Bandai,” the official e-commerce site of the Bandai Namco group, within the “BANCOLLE! – BANDAI FASHION COLLECTION –” section.
Kimetsu no Yaiba is the anime adaptation of the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, published by Shueisha’s “Jump Comics” in a complete 23-volume set that has sold over 220 million copies in circulation. It tells the story of a boy, Kamado Tanjirou, whose family is slaughtered by demons. To turn his demon-transformed younger sister, Kamado Nezuko, back into a human, he joins the Demon Slayer Corps and throws himself into battle against demons. The series is beloved for its poignant tale of humans and demons, breathtaking sword-fighting action, charismatic characters, and the occasional comedic scene.
The animation is produced by ufotable, with the series launching in April 2019 with TV Anime “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Kamado Tanjirou Risshi Hen (which can be translated as Determination Arc). The saga continues with the movie trilogy Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha Hen (aka Mugen Train Arc) and the ongoing Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugenjou Hen (aka Infinity Castle Arc). The first part of this final battle, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugenjou Hen – Dai Isshou – Akaza Saikai (Chapter 1: Akaza’s Return), hit theaters on July 18th.
