Madousho no Chikara de Sokoku wo Tatakitsubushimasu. Diving into the Source Material
The anime is based on the popular light novel series written by Hagure Metabo. The story first began serialization on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2020. Hobby Japan later picked it up for print publication, with illustrations provided by Masami. The seventh volume of the novel was released on August 19.
For manga enthusiasts, a comic adaptation by Oonoimo has been running in Comic Fire since May 2022. The eighth manga volume hit stores on September 1, with the ninth volume slated for release soon.
International Licensing Details
For English-speaking audiences, J-Novel Club has secured the digital rights to both the light novel and manga. The publisher announced the manga license in November 2023 and the light novel license in January 2024. As of now, the sixth volume of the light novel is available (released May 21), and the sixth manga volume was published on December 17.
