From the super comfy TV anime Yuru Camp△ SEASON3, a fresh batch of apparel has launched, featuring everyone’s favorite solo camper, Shima Rin, in a stylish new pose. This time, she’s trading her trusty scooter for the majestic “stag” that serves as the logo for the renowned outdoor brand Captain Stag. The official character goods and apparel brand, Niji COSPA (COSPA), is handling the release, and they’re kicking things off with advance sales in the anime’s real-life settings: Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures.

About Yuru Camp△: A Slice-of-Life Outdoor Hit

For the uninitiated, Yuru Camp△ (which can be translated as Laid-Back Camp) is a hugely popular girls’ outdoor story manga serialized by afro on the app COMIC FUZ. It gently follows the daily lives of camping-obsessed high school girls against the beautiful backdrops of Yamanashi and Shizuoka. The manga’s charm has won over millions, with compiled volumes surpassing a staggering 10 million copies in circulation.

The anime adaptation has been a massive success too. The first season aired in 2018, followed by a second season in 2021. The franchise even hit the big screen with a movie in July 2022, which showed the main characters all grown up and taking on the challenge of building a campsite—a plot point that really got fans talking. The third TV season, SEASON3, aired from April 2024, and the hype didn’t stop there. At the “SP Event Yuru Campers Gathering” in November 2024, the production of Yuru Camp△ SEASON4 was officially announced!

Rin’s New Ride: Teaming Up with Captain Stag

In this fun crossover, Shima Rin makes the ultimate upgrade—hopping off her scooter and onto the iconic stag of Captain Stag, a brand that’s been a pillar of Japan’s outdoor scene since 1976. This collab brings that awesome image to life on a range of gear.
