Haikyuu!!’s “King of the Court” Joins the S.H.Figuarts Lineup!
From the anime Haikyuu!!, Kageyama Tobio makes his debut in the S.H.Figuarts series. The figure is now available for pre-order as a general retail release.
About Haikyuu!!
For the uninitiated, Haikyuu!! is the massively popular manga series by Furudate Haruichi-sensei that revolves around high school volleyball. The TV anime adaptation began airing in 2014, with its fourth season airing through December 2020. The hype skyrocketed with the sequel film, Gekijouban Haikyuu!! Gomisuteba no Kessen (Haikyuu!! The Movie: The Battle at the Garbage Dump), which premiered in February 2024 and smashed box office records, earning over 20 billion yen worldwide.
And the excitement isn’t stopping there! The production of Gekijouban Haikyuu!! VS Chiisana Kyojin, featuring the clash between Karasuno High and Kamomedai High, has been announced. Plus, a special anime titled Haikyuu!! Bakemono-tachi no Yukutokoro, depicting the battle between Fukuroudani Academy and Nekoma High, is set for a TV broadcast.
