About Jigoku Sensei Nube
For those new to the series, Jigoku Sensei Nube is a brand-new anime adaptation of the classic occult hero action manga that terrified and thrilled a generation. With an original story by Makura Shou and artwork by Okano Takeshi, it was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1993 to 1999, amassing a staggering 29 million copies in total sales. The story revolves around school ghost tales and urban legends, sending chills down readers’ spines while showcasing the heroic deeds of the spirit-powered teacher, Nueno Meisuke—affectionately called “Nube”—who risks his life to protect his students from youkai and evil spirits. Its popularity spans decades, with a TV anime from 1996-1997, movie adaptations, OVAs, and even a 2014 live-action drama starring Maruyama Ryuhei.

Broadcast and Streaming Details
Episode 15 of the winter anime Jigoku Sensei Nube will air on January 14 at 11:45 PM on TV Asahi’s nationwide network “IMAnimation W” slot. After the terrestrial broadcast, it will be available for early streaming on ABEMA, U-NEXT, and Anime Hodai. Other streaming platforms are scheduled to follow.
