It blazed through the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine from 2015 to 2022. The story throws you into a world living in fear of the “Human Combustion Phenomenon”—where ordinary people spontaneously ignite, transforming into rampaging infernal monsters known as Homura. The series follows the fiery journey of Kusakabe Shinra, a determined young man who enlists in the unique Special Fire Force. Alongside his quirky and powerful companions, he battles these flames while unraveling the massive, burning secrets at the world’s core.
The anime adaptation has been a hit across its seasons: Season 1 (Ich no Shou) aired in 2019, Season 2 (Ni no Shou) in 2020, and Season 3 (San no Shou – First Cour) lit up screens from April to June 2025.
