New “Kado Kyaputa Sakura” Puchi Shikishi Featuring Clear Card Arc Scenes
From the beloved magical girl series Kado Kyaputa Sakura (also known as Cardcaptor Sakura), a charming set of “puchi shikishi” (small autograph boards) has arrived, showcasing beautiful scenes from the “Kuriao Kado Hen” (Clear Card Arc). These collectibles are now up for grabs at the Heart Premium Store, which is part of the Bandai Namco Group’s official e-commerce site, Premium Bandai.
About Kado Kyaputa Sakura
Kado Kyaputa Sakura is a classic manga that was serialized in the magazine Nakayoshi from June 1996 to August 2000. The story follows the adventures of Kinomoto Sakura, who becomes a “Card Captor” tasked with collecting the mystical “Kuroo Cards” (Clow Cards) that are said to bring chaos to the world.
The series was adapted into an anime by NHK from 1998 to 2000, with the first two seasons covering the “Kuroo Kado Hen” (Clow Card Arc) and the third season the “Sakura Kado Hen” (Sakura Card Arc). In 2016, to celebrate the 20th anniversary, a new chapter titled Kado Kyaputa Sakura Kuriao Kado Hen (Clear Card Arc) began, concluding after seven and a half years with 80 chapters across 16 volumes. 2023 marked the anime’s 25th anniversary, and the production of an anime sequel for the “Kuriao Kado Hen” has been confirmed.
