Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai is an otherworldly BL fantasy featuring the “Ice Prince” and an efficiency-obsessed salaryman. It’s based on the novel by Yappari Yatsu (also known as August Eight), which has sold over 2 million copies in total. The story follows salaryman Kondou Seiichirou, who is on the cusp of his thirties and gets caught up in a summoning for a Saint. He ends up working in the accounting department of the Români Kingdom in another world, where his life intertwines with the ice-cold noble, Areshu. It’s a unique blend of isekai, workplace, and BL elements, creating a fresh fantasy where the more he works, the more romantic flags seem to pop up in this new world.
The TV anime is directed by Ishihira Shinji, with animation production handled by Studio Deen. Itou Kento voices Kondou Seiichirou, while Maeno Tomoaki plays Areshu Indraak. The cast also includes a lineup of popular voice actors.

After having Areshu meticulously cast a barrier spell on him, Seiichirou accompanies the party deep into the demon forest. Yuai attempts a purification as the Saint, but collapses partway through. Seiichirou and Ist analyze that at least three more expeditions will be needed to complete the purification.
