About Mayonaka Heart Tune

Mayonaka Heart Tune is a “voice youth” love comedy based on the manga by Igarashi Masakuni, serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. It follows the heroines of the broadcasting club, each chasing dreams tied to “voice”—be it as singers, voice actors, VTubers, or announcers—and the protagonist who strives to make their dreams come true.
Yamabuki Arisu, the heir to a conglomerate who aims for perfection in everything, is searching for the “final 1%” needed to be 100% perfect. That missing piece is “Apollo,” the host of the late-night radio show Mayonaka Heart Tune, which Arisu used to listen to every night. However, Apollo suddenly stopped broadcasting at the end of Arisu’s first year of middle school without any explanation.
Now, in the spring of their second year of high school, Arisu schemes to enroll at Kaede Bayashi High School, which has recently become co-ed. Guided by the familiar “voice” of Apollo—the only clue to their identity—Arisu rushes into the broadcasting club one day. There, she finds four girls, each with a resemblance to Apollo, all dreaming of voice-related careers. Thus, Arisu declares that she will fulfill all their voice dreams to keep a promise made to Apollo long ago.
