Exciting News for Mahouka Fans!
Get ready, because the beloved magic school series is gearing up for its next cinematic adventure! The official website for Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Movie: Yotsuba Keishou-hen (also known as The Irregular at Magic High School: Yotsuba Succession Arc) has just dropped some fresh updates that are sure to thrill fans.

A Legacy of Spellbinding Stories
The movie is based on the hit light novel series penned by Satou Tsutomu. Originally serialized online from October 2008 to March 2011, it was picked up by Kadokawa’s Dengeki Bunko and published in 32 volumes from July 2011 to September 2020, with illustrations by Ishida Kana.
But the story doesn’t end there! Satou-sensei launched a sequel series, Zoku Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Magian Company, in October 2020. The tenth volume hit shelves in June 2025, and volume 11 is already on the horizon for March 10.
For English-Speaking Fans
Good news for international audiences: Yen Press licensed the light novel for English release back in March 2015. They’ve been steadily publishing the volumes, with the 26th volume released just recently on February 10.
