“AniSummer 2026” Third Wave of Performers Announced – Ono Daisuke Returns After 14 Years, harmoe, i☆Ris, and More!
“Animelo Summer Live 2026 -Messenger-” is set to take place over three days—July 10 (Fri), 11 (Sat), and 12 (Sun)—at Makuhari Messe. The third wave of performers has just been revealed, adding five new acts to the already stellar lineup. Following this announcement, social media has been buzzing with excitement and anticipation for the event.
For those unfamiliar, AniSummer (short for Anison Summer Live) is a massive anime song live event that first kicked off in 2005 and celebrated its 20th edition in the summer of 2025. Every year, it brings together an incredible mix of anison singers, voice actor artists, and even popular J-POP and rock acts from across label boundaries. The result is a spectacular stage filled with unique collaborations and high‑energy performances that you can only experience at this one‑of‑a‑kind summer festival.
This year’s theme is “Messenger.” And now, the third wave of artists has been announced.
Day 1 (July 10) – harmoe Returns After Three Years
On the first day, harmoe—the voice actor unit formed by Iwata Haruka and Koizumi Moeka—will take the stage for the second time, three years after their last appearance in 2023. The duo celebrated their fifth debut anniversary this past March, making this return a heartfelt milestone for both the artists and their fans.
Day 2 (July 11) – Ono Daisuke’s Long‑Awaited Return & Natsuyoshi Yuuko’s AniSummer Debut
The second day brings a major surprise: Ono Daisuke, known for voicing Sebastian Michaelis in Kuroshitsuji and Joutarou Kuujou in the JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken series, will perform as a solo artist for the first time in 14 years (his last AniSummer appearance was in 2012). Fans erupted with joy, flooding social media with comments like “So hot!!” “I didn’t hear that Ono D was coming!” “Rodeo day with Ono D at AniSummer… insane!!” and “I’m crying tears of joy for Ono-kun.”
Also on Day 2, Natsuyoshi Yuuko (as Kaguya from Chou Kaguya-hime!) will perform at AniSummer for the very first time as a solo artist. Chou Kaguya-hime! debuted as a Netflix worldwide exclusive and became a massive hit both in Japan and abroad. One month after streaming began, the theatrical release achieved extraordinary box‑office revenue of over 2 billion yen and surpassed 1 million viewers. This AniSummer stage will mark the first time Natsuyoshi Yuuko sings songs from Chou Kaguya-hime! live.

The final day features the five‑member voice actor idol unit i☆Ris, making their 11th appearance (third consecutive year), and Oonishi Akuri, who celebrated her fifth artist debut anniversary this March, performing as a solo artist for the second time since 2022.
