The popular character ‘mofusand’ is appearing in a new collection from Uniqlo. The line includes a women’s range themed around camping and the outdoors, and a kids’ ‘Sweets Nyan’ series featuring cute confectionery motifs.
Created by illustrator Juno, mofusand features adorable and slightly surreal cats. An anime has been streaming on YouTube and other platforms since January 7, 2026, gaining popularity. The series depicts the everyday little happenings of ‘Same Nyan’, a brown tabby cat in a shark suit, in a heartwarming and relaxed style.
Uniqlo’s new mofusand collection consists of the women’s ‘mofusand UT/Short’ and the kids’ ‘GIRLS mofusand UT’.

Featuring adorable prints of cats enjoying hikes and nature’s bounty.
Color ’00 WHITE’ shows a cat with a backpack aiming for a farther destination. Color ’44 YELLOW’ depicts cats enjoying a harvest experience in nature. Color ’55 GREEN’ is themed around birdwatching in the great outdoors.
Color ’07 GRAY’ features a cat resting in a sleeping bag as a one-point design, with a hammock motif on the back.
Available in a wide size range from XS to 4XL (XS, XXL, and 3XL available online only).
GIRLS mofusand UT
For the kids’ ‘Sweets Nyan’ series, color ’00 WHITE’ depicts the world of macarons and sweets nyan in soft pastel tones. Color ’10 PINK’ shows mofusand sitting on a shortcake with a strawberry on its head. Color ’60 LIGHT BLUE’ features sweets nyan cats with cherries striking a pose inside a drink.
GIRLS mofusand UT
Color ’70 LIGHT PURPLE’ lets you enjoy the ice cream world through front and back prints.

Available in sizes 100 (for ages 3–4) to 160 (for age 14) (size 100 available online only).
Both the ‘mofusand UT/Short’ and ‘GIRLS mofusand UT’ are scheduled for release in mid-June 2026. Prices are 1,990 yen and 990 yen (tax included) respectively.
