A craft cola called “Chill Maruko-la” from Chibi Maruko-chan is set to be released. Pre-orders are currently being accepted.
Chibi Maruko-chan is a manga by Momoko Sakura that began serialization in “Ribon” (Shueisha) in 1986. It warmly depicts the daily life of third-grader Maruko (Momoko Sakura), her family, and friends, with joy and sometimes poignancy. The original manga has 18 volumes, and the TV anime started airing in 1990, reaching 1500 episodes in May 2022. It has been broadcast overseas and continues to be loved worldwide.
Now, with the catchphrase “Let’s take it easy,” “CHILL MARUKO CHAN” offers items for the ultimate relaxation time (chill time). It collaborates with “Sauna Cola (Kouno Cola),” a craft cola developed specifically for sauna use to deepen and enrich the post-sauna “totonoi” (state of relaxation). “Chill Maruko-la” is the new product from this collaboration.
The shared desire to “accompany relaxation time” made this collaboration a reality. It’s a special cup that adds the relaxed, chill mood of Maruko and friends to the Sauna Cola, which is caffeine-free and enriched with minerals to deepen the “totonoi” after sweating in saunas, stone baths, or baths.
Since it is additive-free, uncolored, and unscented, children can drink it safely, so the whole family can enjoy a “chill time” together.
Orders can be placed until Tuesday, May 26, at 23:59. Shipping will start sequentially from the release date of Wednesday, May 27.
