A special radio-controlled solar-powered wristwatch celebrating the 60th anniversary of Ultraman has been announced by Toei (Tōei). Designed with the emblem of the Science Patrol (Kagaku Tokusō-tai), the limited-edition timepiece also features a natural diamond set into a blue Color Timer-inspired sub-dial. Pre-orders will open on June 4, 2026, exclusively at the Fulton Japan official online shop.

Anniversary Design and Functionality
First airing in 1966, Ultraman is a cornerstone of Japanese tokusatsu superhero history. The anniversary watch is equipped with both a solar-charging function (using sunlight or indoor light) and a radio-controlled timekeeping system, eliminating the need for battery changes or manual adjustments.

The watch face features an anniversary logo with Ultraman’s silhouette soaring from the “60” mark. The hour and minute hands are custom-molded to evoke the Science Patrol’s emblem. A sub-dial at the 60-minute mark shows Ultraman firing his Spacium Beam, while the 6 o’clock position holds a blue shell dial reminiscent of the Color Timer, set with a natural diamond.

The case back, also styled after the Color Timer, is engraved with an edition number (limited to 2,000 pieces) and a depiction of Ultraman releasing the Spacium Beam.

Special Anniversary Set
The watch comes as a premium anniversary set that includes a heavy acrylic block embedded with metal parts, an acrylic watch stand featuring Ultraman in action, and a guarantee card whose front bears the 60th-anniversary logo and monster silhouettes, while the reverse is designed to evoke classic TV screens. The set is housed in a high-quality PU leather watch box with Ultraman’s silhouette on the lid and the anniversary logo inside.
