After a run of approximately ten and a half years, the beloved manga Honey Lemon Soda by Murata Mayu has officially come to an end. To celebrate the finale, the digital manga and novel service Piccoma is hosting an event where readers can enjoy over 190 chapters for free. In addition, a side story compilation titled Honey Lemon Soda: Another Stories is set to release on June 25, 2026.
Serialized in Shueisha’s shōjo manga magazine Ribon since 2015, Honey Lemon Soda follows Shiomori Uka, a girl who enrolls in a school with a free-spirited atmosphere to change herself. There she meets the popular, lemon-haired Miura Kai and gradually grows through their interactions. The series has surpassed a cumulative 16 million copies in print and digital, and has been adapted into a live-action film and a TV anime.
In commemoration of the conclusion, Piccoma is offering more than 190 chapters of the manga at no cost until August 17, 2026, at 23:59.
The final compiled volume, Volume 31, goes on sale on May 25, 2026, priced at 572 yen (tax included) with 192 pages. Following that, the side story collection Honey Lemon Soda: Another Stories will be released on June 25, 2026, also priced at 572 yen (tax included) and spanning 208 pages.
After the series concluded in the May 2026 issue of Ribon (released April 3), the magazine is offering two consecutive special bonus booklets. The June issue (released May 2) includes a lavish 32-page full-color illustration booklet titled Honey Lemon Soda Illustration Book: Takarabako. The July issue (scheduled for June 3) will feature another 32-page full-color fan book called Honey Lemon Soda Fan Book: Sparkle Days.
Additionally, to mark the release of Volume 31, a giant advertisement spanning approximately 55 meters will be displayed on the concourse of Tokyo Metro Hanzōmon Line’s Shibuya Station from May 25 to May 31, 2026.
