Puniru wa Kawaii Slime Season 2: Premiere Date, New Visual, PV, and Cast Revealed! Uesaka Sumire Joins the Cast!
The latest information for the TV anime “Puniru wa Kawaii Slime Season 2,” which begins airing in July 2025, has been unveiled all at once. A new key visual, PV, opening theme, and the introduction of a new character along with their voice actor have been announced.
WEB “Weekly CoroCoro Comic” (Shogakukan) currently serializing “Puniru wa Kawaii Slime” (Original work by Maedakun) has been well-received, achieving a cumulative PV count of 22 million and winning an award in the “Next Manga Awards 2022” (4th place in the Web Manga category), making it a hot topic and popular romantic comedy.
The series starts when Puniru, a slime created by the protagonist Kawaii Kotaro, undergoes a spectacular transformation into a beautiful girl. Due to her characteristic as a slime, Puniru adorably changes into various forms – adult, gyaru, elementary schooler, a “bad” girl, a prince, or even giant – captivating audiences with a new kind of heroine. The joyous, never-a-dull-moment daily life of living with a slime, coupled with the childhood friend romantic comedy between Kotaro and Puniru, has garnered significant popularity.
The broadcast start date for the TV anime “Puniru wa Kawaii Slime Season 2” has been announced. It will begin airing on July 6th and will be broadcast every Sunday at 5:30 PM JST across the six TV Tokyo network stations. Furthermore, streaming will commence sequentially on various distribution platforms listed on the official website starting every Sunday at 6:00 PM JST on the same day.
Ahead of the broadcast, the Season 2 key visual has been released. Centered around Puniru with her bright, charming smile, Kotaro and his companions appear lively and cheerful. Additionally, a new mysterious character is shown with a knowing smile…!? Expectations are high for an even more powered-up second season.
The latest PV, showcasing the high-energy start to the second season, has also been released. It features scenes of Puniru’s adorable transformations and the chaotic situations Kotaro and his friends find themselves in.
