Monchhichi is a plushie-based character first released by Sekiguchi in 1974, known for its pacifier pose and cute freckles. The body is plush, while the face and hands are soft vinyl—a new type of doll at the time that sparked a huge boom upon release. Exports began the following year, making Monchhichi popular worldwide, and it has continued to be loved by many fans, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2024. While evolving with the times, over 70 million units have been sold in more than 30 countries since its debut.
Choko Choko was born in 1995 from the “Gekkan Choko Choko” subscription product by Senshukai, and is Bellmazon’s original character.
