San-X has released a new cooling accessory featuring Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi characters, just in time for the summer heat. The STIB2 vacuum-insulated ice pack case is now available from the Skater official online shop and other retailers nationwide.
Rilakkuma, the beloved bear character from San-X, gained international fame through the stop-motion anime Rilakkuma to Kaoru-san on Netflix, with a sequel Rilakkuma to Yūenchi announced in 2022. Sumikko Gurashi, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2022, centers on characters who feel at home in corners—including shirokuma, penguin?, tonkatsu, neko, tokage, and ebifurai no shippo—capturing the hearts of fans across generations.
The new product, the vacuum-insulated ice pack case, is designed to help beat the heat during summer outings or cool down after sports. The stainless steel double-wall vacuum insulation keeps contents cold for a long time, making it comfortable to use even when on the go.
