Square Enix’s Dragon Quest series is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a special collaboration with eyewear brand Zoff. The “Zoff | DRAGON QUEST” collection brings iconic motifs from the beloved RPG franchise to glasses and sunglasses, with pre-orders starting May 27, 2026, exclusively on the Zoff official online store.
The Dragon Quest series, which began with the first Famicom title in 1986, has become a cornerstone of Japanese role-playing games. Each numbered entry—up to Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age (2017)—has maintained a classic fantasy world while incorporating innovations such as 3D maps, wireless communication features, and cloud play.

The collection is divided into three themes: Monster, Hero, and Item. The Monster line subtly incorporates features of fan-favorite creatures like Slimes, Metal Slimes, and Golems. The Hero collection draws from the iconic Roto and Sky equipment sets. The Item series, available exclusively online, features motifs such as the legendary Roto’s Sword.

In addition to eyewear, the collaboration includes a line of Slime-themed accessories: glasses cloths (¥900–¥1,500), a glasses case (¥2,000), a glass holder (¥2,500), and a mascot cleaner (¥2,500).
