The lovable snack-shaped idol animals are heading to streaming! The animated film Tabekko Doubutsu THE MOVIE, which opened in Japanese theaters on May 1, 2025, will begin its unlimited exclusive streaming on Prime Video from June 1, 2026 (Monday, 12:00 AM JST). The film is produced by TBS Television and distributed by Clockworks and TBS Television.

In Sweets Land, where sweets and humans coexist peacefully, the super-idol group “Tabekko Doubutsu” is beloved for their singing and dancing. However, the most evil “Watame Gundan” (Cotton Candy Army), who aim to eliminate all sweets and conquer the world, capture Pegasasu-chan. To save their precious friend, the fluffy and cute but combat-free Tabekko Doubutsu must embark on a seemingly 100% impossible rescue mission. What is the secret plan for a dramatic reversal they discover?

Characters and Cast
Raion-kun / Matsuda Genta (Travis Japan)
The de facto leader of Tabekko Doubutsu. His strong desire to lead sometimes gets misunderstood by other members, but underneath he is the kindest and most smile-prizing king of beasts snack leader.

Zou-kun / Mizukami Koshi
Always calm and collected, the reliable pillar who supports the group from behind. Skilled at strategic planning and loves reading mystery novels. He has known Raion-kun for a long time.

Pegasasu-chan / Takashi Akari
The newest member of Tabekko Doubutsu, already immensely popular for her singing voice. She can fly freely through the sky, making her an object of admiration, though Raion-kun seems jealous of her…

Saru-kun / Fujimori Shingo
Self-proclaimed playboy and lighthearted, but also tough. He handles the rap parts and has a cool “I do it when it counts” side.
Kaba-chan / Aoi Shouta
The mood-maker who loves to throw in one-liner gags. Affectionate and can run faster than anyone when in the zone, shaking his giant body.

Usagi-chan / Ozawa Ari
A social-media lover who lives freely in the modern age. She handles the hype and overcomes any crisis with the power of social media. Her favorite phrase is “Hai! Pyoozu☆彡!”

Neko-chan / Minase Inori
Usually easygoing and laid-back. She has her own sense of “cute” and is a bit shy about showing it. Usagi-chan often asks her to strike a “Pyoozu” pose, and she secretly doesn’t mind.
Kirin-chan / Touyama Nao
Gentle in nature, finds comfort in being with the group. Extremely timid, but her large frame allows her to carry someone on her back and run. She is fast but bad at stopping suddenly.

Wani-kun / Tategami Bunshin
The oldest (?) member. An inventor whose creations are used in their live performances, indispensable for technical direction. He wears sunglasses when pumped and loves large motorcycles.

Hiyoko-chan / Mamiya Kurumi
The youngest member, who expresses all emotions through the nuance of “Pii!” Her potential hints at a bright future for Sweets Land.
Pero / Oono Ririana
A girl the Tabekko Doubutsu meet at the castle. She seems to be always stealing sweets…

Gochan / Seki Tomokazu
Due to circumstances, he ends up traveling with Raion-kun, but he is not on the side of Tabekko Doubutsu. He has a foul mouth but a cute appearance as a cotton candy. He knows a certain secret spell.
Maccaron Kyooju / Ootsuka Akio
Brilliant university professor in Sweets Land. He loves sweets but always looks grumpy and rarely smiles. He is skilled at cooking with cotton candy.

King Goton / Ootsuka Houchuu
A giant cotton candy towering atop a castle that suddenly appeared in Sweets Land. He recognizes no sweets other than cotton candy.

Three Polinkies / Hayami Shou
A trio consisting of the pilot, co-pilot, and in-flight bartender of the private jet used by Tabekko Doubutsu.
