Hololive Production VTuber Hakui Koyori, a member of the unit [Secret Society holoX], has teamed up with the Japanese sake brand Rikei Kyoudai once again. The second collaboration sake, titled “Rikei Kyoudai No.54 Re,” goes on sale in limited quantities from May 30 (Saturday) at 20:00.
This new release is an improved version of the original “Rikei Kyoudai No.54” that launched back in 2022. Based on precise brewing data accumulated by Aruga Jouzou, Hakui Koyori personally selected the sake rice and yeast strains to perfect the dry yet fruity flavor profile she envisioned.
Hololive is a group of female VTubers under the agency Hololive Production. The talents engage in game streams, singing, talk sessions, and collaboration projects, as well as 3D animations and variety videos. Beyond idol activities like music releases and live concerts, they also expand into media mix projects such as the “Isekai Creation Project.”
Bottled as a pure rice daiginjo (alcohol 15%, 720ml, polishing ratio 40%), the sake uses yeast strains F7-01 and 701-15 with Gohyakumangoku rice. It is brewed by Aruga Jouzou in Fukushima Prefecture.
