The official website for the television anime adaptation of Fuurou’s Ryoumin 0-nin Start no Henkyou Ryoushu-sama (also known as The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects: The Blue-Horned Maiden) has unveiled additional cast members, key staff, theme song details, and a second promotional video. The series is set to premiere on July 10 at 10:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by broadcasts on MBS, BS Asahi, and AT-X.

Theme Songs
Japanese pop-rock band CROWN HEAD (Kun Tun Tianxia Zhi Zhang Men Guilai) performs the opening theme “Wonder.” Singer Kaya (Hell Mode: Yarikomizuki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou suru) delivers the ending theme “Hoshi Furu Yoru no Yakusoku.” The opening theme can be heard in the second promotional video.
Production Details
Imaizumi Kenichi (Kingdom 3rd Season) is directing the anime at animation studio42, with Okada Kunihiko (Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru) handling series composition. Tsuboyama Keiichi (PriPri Chii-chan!! chief animation director) is designing the characters.
Fuurou began posting the fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2018. Earth Star Entertainment later acquired the series and began publishing the light novel under its Earth Star Novel imprint with illustrations by Kinta in October 2018; the 14th volume was released in September 2025. Yumbo launched a manga adaptation on the Comic Earth☆Star website in December 2018, with the 14th volume published on January 9, 2025. J-Novel Club has licensed both the light novel and manga for digital release in English, with the 13th light novel volume released on April 14 and the 14th volume planned for June 22. The 13th manga volume was released on May 13.
