New merchandise from Mononoke the Movie lets fans carry the enigmatic Medicine Seller’s style into everyday life. A wristwatch, tote bag, and long wallet inspired by the character are now available for preorder via the SuperGroupies official website and select retailers.
About the Series
Mononoke follows the mysterious Medicine Seller as he travels across feudal Japan to quell supernatural disturbances caused by vengeful spirits known as mononoke. The story originated from the 2006 anthology series Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales segment “Bakeneko,” and spun off into its own television series the following year. Starting in 2024, a trilogy of theatrical films set in the Ōoku (the shogun’s inner palace) began: Mononoke the Movie: The Phantom in the Rain (July 2024), Mononoke the Movie: Chapter 2 – Hinezumi (March 2025), and Mononoke the Movie: Chapter 3 – Snake God, which opened on May 29, 2026. The Medicine Seller is voiced by Kamiya Hiroshi.

Pricing, Preorder Period, and Shipping
Preorders are open until June 22, 2026, at 12:00 JST. The wristwatch is priced at ¥23,100 (tax included) and is scheduled to ship around late December 2026. The tote bag (¥18,700) and long wallet (¥15,400) are expected to ship around late September 2026. The items are available via the SuperGroupies official website, Animate Online Shop, and at Animate Ikebukuro Main Store, where sample items are on display.
