Grotesqqque Original Anime Movie Announces Cast Members

Production company Aniplex has launched an official website for the original anime movie Grotesqqque, unveiling its cast on Saturday. The film, which was initially scheduled for a 2025 release, is now planned for a 2026 premiere.

Nishigori Atsushi (Darling in the FranXX) is directing the anime movie, as well as penning the script and designing the characters at CloverWorks. Aniplex and Joen are credited as planning and production. ANIMEC is distributing the movie.

Synopsis

The film features three distinct segments, each with its own unique setting and premise, blending together into a single cohesive anthology.

The first segment, titled Ellians, follows an alien girl who teams up with a space agency civil servant on a frantic search for friends.

Following that is Yoroshiku★Shoujo, a chaotic battle royale narrative that centers on a group of girls competing in a fierce game known as “Queen of Butterfly.”

The final story, Nocturne ~In This Grotesque Night~, chronicles the journey of a pureblood vampire and three girls who managed to survive by becoming infected after she fed on them.
