The TV anime Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san has set its premiere date for July 3, 2026. Along with the announcement, a second key visual and a main promotional video have been released.
The series is a horror comedy based on the manga by Eroki (story) and Konoshiro Shinko (art), currently serialized on Shogakukan’s Manga One platform. The story follows Shizuka, an ordinary high school girl who can only see ghosts but has a unique constitution that attracts spirits. She works as an assistant to the famous spiritualist Kamui, whose exorcism methods are unlike anything seen before.
The newly unveiled key visual symbolizes the thrilling and provocative world of the series: while Shizuka tries to relax, evil spirits lurk nearby, and Kamui is depicted inexplicably shirtless. The main PV condenses the unique blend of horror unease and comedic atmosphere that defines the show’s erotic comedy appeal.
To celebrate the release of the second key visual and main PV, a giveaway campaign is underway. Prizes include a 10,000-yen Amazon gift card and an “Evil Spirit Exorcism Goods” set inspired by Kamui’s rather unconventional exorcism methods.

Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san airs weekly on Fridays from July 3 on TOKYO MX and BS11. The fully uncensored (regulation-free) version will be available exclusively on AnimeFesta.
