The characters of TV anime Blue Lock are trading their soccer uniforms for something a little different. A new line of merchandise featuring the cast in freshly drawn “Check Sailor Style” illustrations has been announced, offering fans a chance to see Yoichi Isagi, Seishiro Nagi, and others in an unexpected look.
The goods are scheduled for release in late August 2026, and pre-orders are currently open at TEAM Entertainment’s official EC site, the TEAM STORE, as well as at hobby and general merchandise shops across Japan.
Originally created by Kaneshiro Muneyuki with art by Nomura Yusuke, Blue Lock is a soccer manga that won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the shōnen category and is serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine. The story follows the Blue Lock project, an initiative launched by the Japan Football Union to develop a striker capable of winning the World Cup. Three hundred high school forwards are gathered and forced to compete in a brutal selection process to become the world’s best striker.
The first TV anime season aired for two consecutive cours starting October 2022, followed by the theatrical film Gekijouban Blue Lock -EPISODE Nagi- in April 2024. The second TV season ran for 14 episodes from October 2024, and a sequel to the TV series was announced at the “Blue Lock Egoist Festa 2025” event held in September 2025.
The merchandise lineup includes ten product types: Trading Glitter Can Badge, Trading Bromide, Trading Acrylic Card, Glitter Acrylic Stand, Glitter Acrylic Key Holder, Name Badge, Sticker, Clear File, Scarf, and an Extra-Large Acrylic Stand. Fans are encouraged to place pre-orders at the TEAM STORE or other participating retailers before late August.
