On Saturday, the official website for the TV anime adaptation of Shiraishi Arata and Kentarou’s light novel series Rakudai Kenja no Gakuin Musou: Nidome no Tensei, S-Rank Cheat Majutsushi Boukenroku unveiled additional staff members, a key visual, the opening theme, and the first promotional video. The anime is set to premiere on July 2 at 12:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by ABC TV, BS Fuji, and other stations.

J-Rock band FLOW is performing the opening theme “+ENCOUNT”, while Japanese girl group TrySail is performing the ending theme “Doukei.” Both songs are previewed in the first promotional video.
Ishii Hisashi (Yuusha, Yamemasu) is directing the anime at EMT Squared, with Akao Deko (Saigo ni Hitotsu dake Onegai shitemo Yoroshii deshou ka) handling series composition. Furukawa Hideki (Strike the Blood III) is designing the characters.
The light novel series began on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2018 and was published by Kadokawa with illustrations by Denim Uo under the Sneaker Bunko imprint, releasing eight volumes from October 2019 to March 2022. A manga adaptation by Kentarou started serialization on Manga UP! in September 2019; Square Enix released the eighth volume in June 2025. The manga is also published in English on Manga UP! and Comikey.
