Sanrio is bringing a little summer fun to its capsule toy lineup with the “Suntan Snoozy Capsule Keychain” (日焼けすやすやカプセルキーチェーン), a collection of five beloved characters dozing off on the beach in their swimsuits — complete with a warm, sun-kissed glow.
The set includes Hello Kitty, Kuromi, My Melody, Pompompurin, and Cinnamoroll, all recreated as sleeping figures with a light tan that gives them a healthy, relaxed look. Each capsule contains glittering spangles, aurora-colored shells, and pearl beads, making the keychain feel like a tiny seaside treasure.
The keychains will be available exclusively at CapEbo (かぷえぼ) capsule machines located in amusement facilities such as Moli Fantasy, PALO, TOYS SPOT PALO, and Capsule Yokocho. They go on sale June 11, 2026, while supplies last, priced at 690 yen (tax included).
The launch comes as this year’s Sanrio Character Grand Prix heats up. In the midterm standings, Pompompurin — last year’s champion after nine years — reclaimed the top spot, ahead of Cinnamoroll in second and Pochacco in third. The final results are still to be announced, but these sleepy summer charms are already drawing attention.
