STEAMCREAM, the popular moisturizing cream brand, has announced new limited edition cans featuring characters from the beloved series Moomin. The two designs, titled “Moomin Valley Sunny Day” and “Little My and Rainy Day,” will be released in limited quantities starting June 10, 2026.
About Moomin
Created by Finnish author Tove Jansson, the Moomin characters are known for their round, white bodies. The series, which includes the Moomin family, the traveller Snufkin, Little My (Chibi no Mii), and other whimsical characters, has won hearts worldwide. In Japan, the TV anime Moomin first aired in 1969, followed by the new series Tanoshii Moomin Ikka in 1990. In 2019, the theme park Moominvalley Park opened in Hanno, Saitama Prefecture, and the British-Finnish CG anime Moominvalley also began broadcasting in Japan.
