A Royal Court Detective and a Handsome Eunuch Invade the World of Monst! Kusuriya no Hitorigoto x Monster Strike Collaboration Begins!
Get ready, Monst players and fans of Kusuriya no Hitorigoto! A special collaboration event is kicking off for the first time between the popular smartphone pulling-hunting RPG Monster Strike (Monst) and the hit TV anime Kusuriya no Hitorigoto. The event is set to start on June 14, 2025, at 12:00 PM JST, bringing fan-favorite characters into the game.
For those unfamiliar, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, also known in English as The Apothecary Diaries, is a captivating mystery entertainment series. It centers around Nekomao, the daughter of an apothecary with an unusual fascination for poisons and medicines. She finds herself entangled in various incidents within the imperial court and uses her extensive knowledge to solve them. The story is based on the highly popular light novel series by Hyuuga Natsu, published under Imagica Infos’ Hero Bunko imprint, which boasts over 40 million copies in circulation. The TV anime adaptation’s first season aired from October 2023, with the second season currently airing since January 2025.
This exciting first-ever collaboration between Kusuriya no Hitorigoto and Monst will see characters from the series appearing in the game. Nekomao and Jinshi are set to feature in a special limited-time gacha pool called “Green Fantasy × Midnight Party × Kusuriya no Hitorigoto.”
Beyond the gacha, other characters will also make their appearance. Gyokuyouhi and Shisui will appear in collaboration quests, offering players a chance to challenge and acquire them. Additionally, Rikahi can be obtained as a reward for completing certain milestones in the “Nekomao’s Concoctions” feature, which grants items after a set time. Furthermore, Nekomao & Jinshi will be available through login bonuses and the Friend Gacha.
Collaboration Exclusive Goods and Giveaways
As part of the celebration, there will also be chances to win prizes like “Eraberu Pay” (Selectable Pay) or exclusive collaboration original goods through special campaigns. One of these charming goods includes a unique Konpeitou candy set themed after Nekomao and Jinshi!
