Isekai Quartet Anime Gets Third Season!

Big news for fans of the multi-world crossover! The official website for the Isekai Quartet anime series has just announced that a third season is officially in the works. Alongside this exciting reveal, they dropped details on the main staff, returning cast, and even a teaser visual.
New Faces Join the Chaos!
Get ready to welcome another popular character into the mix! Seiichirou Yamashita is joining the cast. He’ll be voicing Cid Kagenou from the popular series Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! (which you might also know as The Eminence in Shadow).
Bringing the Worlds Together Again: The Staff
The team behind the previous seasons is returning to bring us this new adventure at Studio PuYUKAI.

The Crossover Saga So Far
For those new to the phenomenon, Isekai Quartet is a super-deformed (chibi) style crossover anime bringing characters together from several different popular isekai franchises. It originally mashed up heroes and villains from Overlord, Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (also known as KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!), Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (you might know it as Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-), and Youjo Senki (or The Saga of Tanya the Evil).
The first season, which was twelve 12-minute episodes, aired back in Spring 2019. It was simulcast with subtitles by Crunchyroll and also got an English dub from Funimation.
The fun continued with a second season in Winter 2020. This time, characters from Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari (also known as The Rising of the Shield Hero) and Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tsueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru (or Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious) also joined the quirky classroom setting. Crunchyroll streamed this season as it aired in Japan, and Funimation also provided an English dub.
The story wasn’t over yet! A sequel movie titled Another World hit Japanese theaters in June 2022, continuing the crossover adventures on the big screen.
