This striking kimono-style Licca-chan, the “Premium Licca Kimono Watsubaki,” was conceived due to the immense popularity of kimono styles among fans engaging in “Rikakatsu” (activities centered around Licca-chan, such as taking photos and crafting clothes), a trend ignited by the recent resurgence of retro aesthetics. The design aims to blend a sense of comforting nostalgia with fresh novelty, creating a captivating “retro modern” look.
She wears a breathtaking camellia-patterned uchikake (outer kimono) layered over a striped kimono, beautifully capturing a “retro modern” aesthetic.
