
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Metabo Hagure‘s light novel Buchigire Reijou wa Houfuku wo Chikaimashita. Madousho no Chikara de Sokoku wo Tatakitsubushimasu (also known as A Livid Lady’s Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires) has announced a pair of additional cast members on Friday.
The series is set to premiere on July 6 at 10:30 p.m. on AT-X, followed by TV Tokyo, BS11, TV-U Fukushima, and other stations.
Voice actors Seto Asami (known for Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai) and Akabane Kenji (known for Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru) are joining the cast as Roselia Fadgar and Roberto Arti, respectively.

Director Kuzuya Naoyuki (Izure Saikyou no Renkinjutsushi?) is leading the production at Studio Comet. Series composition is handled by Hirota Mitsutaka (Gimai Seikatsu), and character designs are by Anezaki Sayaka (Touhai: Ura Rate Mahjong Touhairoku). The music is composed by Houno Satoshi (Isekai Yakkyoku) and Nakano Kaori (Fuguushoku “Kanteishi” ga Jitsu wa Saikyou Datta).
Hagure began serializing the fantasy drama novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2020. Hobby Japan began publishing the novel in May 2022 with illustrations by Masami (Kanpekisugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru). The seventh volume went on sale in August 2025.
Oonoimo began drawing a manga adaptation in Comic Fire in May 2022, and Hobby Japan published the tenth volume on March 2.
J-Novel Club licensed both the manga and light novel for digital English release in November 2023 and January 2024, respectively. The seventh light novel volume was released on May 13, and the eighth manga volume was published on July 1.
