ABEMA, the video streaming service, will offer all 24 theatrical Pokémon feature films for free over four consecutive weekends starting June 20, 2026. The lineup spans from the very first movie, Mewtwo no Gyakushuu (1998), all the way to Pokémon the Movie: Coco (2020).
The Pokémon anime series began in April 1997, following the journey of Satoshi and his partner Pikachu for about 26 years until March 2023. A new series starring Riko and Roy started in April 2023. The theatrical films began with Mewtwo no Gyakushuu in 1998 and have been beloved across generations.
As a special project for the Anime “Pokémon” channel, all 24 feature-length films will be broadcast in batches on Saturdays and Sundays, with each film available to watch for free for one week after its initial airing.
In addition to the movies, ABEMA is also currently streaming all eight TV series (including the latest season), short films, spin-offs, OVAs, and Pokémon short animations on a daily basis.
