HI-METAL R Brutish Dog Pre-Orders End June 28 – Wide Articulation, Landing Pose, and Pilot Boarding Gimmicks

Bandai’s official online shop Premium Bandai is currently accepting pre-orders for the “HI-METAL R Brutish Dog” from the classic real-robot anime Armored Trooper Votoms. Orders must be placed by June 28, 2026 (Sunday), with shipments scheduled for October 2026. The figure is priced at 22,000 yen (tax included).

Directed by Takahashi Ryousuke (with the “taka” in “Takahashi” written using the ladder-style character) and produced by Sunrise, Armored Trooper Votoms first aired as a TV series from 1983 to 1984. Over the past 40-plus years, the franchise has expanded through OVAs, side stories, theatrical films, event screenings, and book adaptations, maintaining a devoted fanbase.

Recently, the series has been making headlines again with the announcement of a new installment: Armored Trooper Votoms: Gray Witch (Hexe).

This new release faithfully recreates the Brutish Dog equipped with its signature gatling gun and iron claw, both of which have been completely newly sculpted.
