The beloved Peko-chan is bringing her milky sweets to Tohoku for the first time. The “Peko-chan milky Time” cafe, inspired by the long-selling candy “Milky,” will open its Fukushima Station West Exit location on July 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
This cafe concept launched in January 2026 in Saitama’s Urawa-Misono Station area, followed by a March opening in Kashiwa, Chiba. The menu features a wide range of sweets including donuts, pies, muffins, cakes, and soft serve, all built around Milky’s gentle milk flavor.
The new Fukushima store is located inside the renovated JR Fukushima Station complex “Fukushima Station West Exit Power City Pivot.” The exterior wall design features Peko-chan and Poko-chan dressed as Akabeko (red cows), a traditional Fukushima folk craft, giving the store a distinctly local touch.

To celebrate the opening, a special event will be held featuring Peko-chan and “Akabe,” the local mascot born from the Aizu region’s Akabeko folk toy. Greetings and photo opportunities with both characters are planned.

A limited “Peko-chan milky Time Happy Bag” will be sold as an opening commemorative gift set. Priced at 2,525 yen (tax included), it includes a Peko-chan milky Time tote bag, a coupon for use at the cafe, a bag of Milky candies, two Peko-chan milky cookies, an assortment of milky rusk, and a Peko-chan milky Time mug.

Additionally, customers who purchase 1,000 yen or more (tax included) in-store will receive one “Peko-chan milky Time Fukushima Station West Exit Original Sticker.”

Fukushima Station West Exit exclusive items are also available. The “Peko-chan × Akabeko Acrylic Charm” features Peko-chan in a happi coat inspired by the Akabeko design, making it a perfect Fukushima souvenir.

A limited-quantity collaboration shake with Fukushima’s popular “Rakuo Cafe Ole” will also be sold. The “Rakuo Cafe Ole Collaboration Shake” combines Milky’s gentle sweetness with the rich flavor of Rakuo Cafe Ole, creating a special drink exclusive to the Fukushima store.

Furthermore, starting July 3, 2026, a Tropical Fair will be held at all “Peko-chan milky Donut” and “Peko-chan milky Time” locations nationwide. The seasonal limited-edition “milky Cream Donut” comes in two flavors to commemorate the Fukushima opening: “Fukushima Prefecture Akatsuki White Peach” and “Mango.” A new summer drink, “Tsubu Pulu Pink Nectar,” will also debut.
