Sanrio fans have a new collectible to look forward to: a capsule toy series that turns beloved characters into adorable macaron-shaped cases. The “Sanrio Characters Macaron Case” from Benelic is set to launch at capsule vending machines across Japan from late June 2026.
Sanrio Characters Macaron Case Details
The lineup features five characters: Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Kuromi, My Melody, and Tuxedo Sam. Each case is designed to look like a real macaron, with a rounded shape and pastel coloring that makes it tempting to display on a plate. The top half of the macaron captures each character’s signature look—Hello Kitty’s red bow, Pompompurin’s brown beret, Kuromi’s pointed hood, My Melody’s hood with ears, and Tuxedo Sam’s sailor hat—while the bottom half is identical across all five. This means fans can mix and match tops and bottoms to create their own custom combinations.
Design and Functionality
The case opens and closes at the cream layer in the middle, making it practical for storing small items like accessories, clips, or trinkets. Whether used as a portable container or displayed on a table, dresser, or entryway, the macaron case adds a sweet touch to everyday life.
