Get Ready! **Maou no Musume wa Yasashisugiru!!** Anime Adaptation Announced for 2026
Great news for fans of heartwarming fantasy comedy! The popular manga series, **Maou no Musume wa Yasashisugiru!!** by Yuuya Sakamoto, is officially getting a TV anime adaptation. The premiere is set for some time in 2026.
Production company DMM pictures revealed the exciting news by launching an official website for the anime project. Alongside the announcement came details about the main cast, staff, a brand-new teaser visual, and even a teaser promo video (which we can’t show you here, but it’s out there!).
What’s the Story About?
The series, also known as “The Demon King’s Daughter Is Too Kind!!”, presents a rather unique challenge for the fearsome Demon King Ahriman. His biggest problem isn’t some legendary hero, but his own adorable daughter, Dou! Dou is incredibly kind and loves *everyone*, which puts a serious damper on Ahriman’s plans for world domination.
Her sweet nature makes her want to make friends and help all creatures, including their traditional enemies, the humans. Surprisingly, instead of punishing her, Ahriman is actually proud of her good deeds. With the help of his loyal aide Jahy, who’s tasked with being Dou’s master, they embark on a hilarious mission: to somehow get rid of Dou’s excessive kindness. Their goal is to transform the cute, lovely, and kind little girl into a truly cruel, twisted, and inhuman little demon. It’s a comedy of errors as they try to corrupt the purest heart in the demon realm!

About the Original Manga
The source material, **Maou no Musume wa Yasashisugiru!!**, got its start back in May 2018 as a one-shot chapter published in Young Animal magazine. It proved popular enough to begin regular serialization in May of the following year on the Manga Park platform. Hakusensha has been publishing the compiled volumes, with the fifth volume releasing in August 2024. The sixth volume is scheduled to go on sale on June 27th.
