To commemorate the broadcast of the second season of the popular TV anime Dandadan, Filmarks Culture Wear, the apparel brand developed by the movie and anime review service Filmarks, is releasing “Limited Original T-shirts.” These exciting new items will be available for pre-order starting June 27th.
About Dandadan
Dandadan is a thrilling occult battle and youth manga penned by Tatsu Yukinobu, serialized on “Shonen Jump+.” The story follows Ayase Momo, a high school girl hailing from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Takakura Ken, an enthusiastic occult fanatic known as Okarun. Their lives take a bizarre turn after encountering supernatural phenomena that defy explanation. Gaining both hidden powers and cursed abilities, they embark on a journey to challenge these strange occurrences, all while getting entangled in a fated romance.
The TV anime adaptation first premiered in October 2024. Fans are eagerly awaiting the second season, which is scheduled to kick off on July 3, 2025, airing within the MBS/TBS network’s 28 stations’ “Super Animeism TURBO” programming block.
Limited Original T-Shirt Collection
In celebration of the upcoming second season of Dandadan, and the anticipated adventures of Okarun, Momo, and their companions, these limited original T-shirts have been created. The collection features a total of four distinct designs, perfect for fans to show their love for the series.
The “FCW Characters T” boasts vibrant and impressive visuals, bringing together Okarun, Momo, Hoshiko, Jiji, and Aira. The design boldly incorporates iconic scenes of each character striking a pose in a single shot, complemented by the English titles of the episodes placed below a vintage-style series title. It’s a dynamic tee showcasing the main cast in action.
Next is the “FCW Okarun & Momo T”, which highlights an impactful scene of Okarun and Momo standing back-to-back and looking up. This design beautifully captures their expressions, hinting at the epic story that is about to unfold for the duo. It features a retro-modern title along with the series’ core concept: “The story of the occult battle and adolescence.”
Adding some extraterrestrial flair is the “FCW Serupo Seijin T”, which integrates the memorable scene of the Serupo Seijin descending from a UFO. For fans of chilling supernatural encounters, there’s the “FCW Turbo Babaa T”, capturing the terrifying speed and presence of the Turbo Babaa bearing down. Both designs offer unique and eye-catching representations of the series’ memorable 怪奇 (kaiki – bizarre/mysterious phenomena).
Pricing and Sales Information
All four T-shirt designs are available in sizes M, L, XL, and XXL. Each T-shirt is priced at 6,930 JPY (including tax). These limited original T-shirts will be available for pre-order exclusively through the Filmarks Store.
