New merchandise for Natsume Yuujinchou featuring freshly drawn illustrations of Natsume Takashi and Nyanko-sensei will go on sale from June 27, 2026 (Saturday) at the Animate online shop and other retailers.

The series, created by Midorikawa Yuki and serialized in Hakusensha’s Monthly LaLa, follows Natsume Takashi, a boy who has been able to see youkai since childhood. After inheriting his grandmother Reiko’s “Book of Friends,” he sets out with his self-proclaimed bodyguard Nyanko-sensei to return the names of the youkai bound within it. The manga has surpassed 19 million copies in print, and the TV anime began in 2008, with the seventh season, Natsume Yuujinchou Shichi, airing from October 2024.
The new goods use illustrations of Natsume, Tanuma Kaname, Natori Shuuichi, and Matoba Seiji enjoying summer treats like shaved ice and watermelon alongside Nyanko-sensei. The lineup also includes items featuring scene shots from the anime and designs focused solely on Nyanko-sensei.
Clear File & Character Badge Collection

The clear file and character badge collection feature designs with Natsume, Tanuma, Natori, Matoba, and Nyanko-sensei. The character badge collection is also available in boxes of eight packs.

Noble Art Collection

Acrylic Stand & Bangs Clip
An acrylic stand and a bangs clip featuring Nyanko-sensei in a hand-drawn style are also part of the lineup, perfect for fans of the beloved cat youkai.
