Natsume Yuujinchou x Shigi Collaboration: Nyanko-sensei Setta Sandals Available for Pre-order
A collaboration item between the TV anime Natsume Yuujinchou and the brand Shigi has been decided for release! These special items are currently available for pre-order on the mail-order site “AMNIBUS.”
About Natsume Yuujinchou
Natsume Yuujinchou is based on the manga by Midorikawa Yuki, serialized in “Gekkan LaLa.” It’s a captivating tale of yokai contracts and bizarre occurrences.
The story follows the lonely boy, Natsume Takashi, who harbors a secret: he can see yokai. After inheriting the “Yuujinchou,” a book of contracts made by his powerful grandmother Reiko, Natsume finds himself constantly pursued by various yokai. Alongside his self-proclaimed bodyguard, Nyanko-sensei, who resembles a plump cat but is actually a powerful spirit, Natsume leads a busy life navigating the world of spirits and fulfilling the contracts in the Yuujinchou.
The TV anime adaptation first premiered in 2008, and has aired up to its sixth season. The beloved characters are voiced by Kamiya Hiroshi as the protagonist Natsume-kun, and Inoue Kazuhiko as the adorable Nyanko-sensei. The series saw its first original feature film in September 2018, followed by a limited theatrical screening of two popular short episodes in January 2021. The highly anticipated seventh season, titled Natsume Yuujinchou Uru, began airing on October 7, 2024.
