General Production Information
Both anime series are being brought to life by the animation studio **Doga Kobo**. Directing both projects is **Nakatani Asami**, known for their work on shows like **Genjitsu no Yohane: Sunshine in the Mirror**. Handling the overall series composition is **Narita Yoshimi**, who also worked on **Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi**. Character designs are a joint effort between **Matsuura Mai** (**Sirius**) and **Taniguchi Junichirou** (**Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai**). The music for the series is being composed by **Iga Takurou**, who contributed to the soundtrack of **[Oshi no Ko]**.

Theme Song for Karaoke Iko!
Singer-songwriter **Imazu Ayumu** is performing the theme song for **Karaoke Iko!**. The song is titled “HOWL”. A preview of this track was featured in the second promotional video released for the anime.
Premiere Dates
Mark your calendars! **Karaoke Iko!** is set to make its television debut on July 24th. It will begin airing at 9:30 p.m. JST on AT-X, followed by broadcasts on Tokyo MX, BS11, Kansai Telecasting, Me-Tele, HBC Hokkaido Broadcasting, Miyagi Television, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting.
Following that, the **Muchuu sa, Kimi ni.** anime adaptation will start airing on August 21st. It will also premiere at 9:30 p.m. JST on the same network of stations.
Manga Origins
Both anime are based on works by author Wayama. **Muchuu sa, Kimi ni.** originally started as an anthology released by Wayama at the COMITIA 127 event back in February 2019. It was later acquired and published as a single volume by **Kadokawa** in August of the same year.
Similarly, **Karaoke Iko!** was first published by Wayama as a doujin work at COMITIA 129 in August 2019. **Kadokawa** then published it as a single volume in September 2020. Wayama has since started drawing a sequel manga titled **Famiresu Iko.** (which can be translated as *Let’s Go to Family Restaurant*) in **Monthly Comic Beam**. The sequel began serialization in November 2020, with **Kadokawa** releasing the first collected volume in December 2023.
For readers outside of Japan, **Yen Press** licensed both manga titles for English release in 2021. They published the English version of **Muchuu sa, Kimi ni.** in July 2021, followed by **Karaoke Iko!** in March 2022.
