About the Light Novel Series

The story all began with Takumi Yanai originally posting the adventure fantasy light novel on the Arcadia website between 2006 and 2009. The anime announced is based on the sequel novel series, Gate Season 2, which was also published by AlphaPolis. The Gate Season 2 light novels ran for five volumes from July 2017 to November 2020, continuing the epic saga.
