Ranma 1/2 is a chaotic and hilarious martial arts romantic comedy manga by the legendary Takahashi Rumiko, known for beloved works such as Urusei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, InuYasha, Kyoukai no RINNE, and MAO. It was serialized in “Shounen Sunday” from 1987 to 1996.

Ranma’s training in China resulted in a strange condition: he turns into a girl when splashed with cold water and back into a boy with hot water. The story follows the chaotic and heartwarming (and sometimes romantic!) antics of Ranma and the Tendou family, drawing in a colorful cast of eccentric characters along the way.
