The Fujiko F. Fujio Museum is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a special exhibition focusing on the beloved secret gadgets from Doraemon. Titled “Fujiko F. Fujio Museum 15th Anniversary Doraemon! Wish-Granting Secret Gadgets Exhibition,” the event begins on July 1, 2026.
The museum, which reaches its 15th anniversary on September 3, 2026, is hosting this exhibition as a tribute to one of Fujiko F. Fujio’s lifelong works. The exhibition highlights the iconic “secret gadgets” (himitsu dougu) that have become a hallmark of the series.
The entrance of the exhibition symbolically represents Doraemon’s four-dimensional pocket, from which secret gadgets are pulled. The left wall features panels of Nobita making wishes, and visitors can stand in front of a speech bubble reading “Doraemon!” to take photos.
Free audio guides are available in each exhibition area, narrated by Megumi Oohara, the voice of Nobita in the TV anime. Visitors can listen using their own smartphones or tablets.
The corner dedicated to the film Doraemon: Nobita’s New Great Demon of the Underworld (Shin Nobita no Kaitei Kiganjou) has been renewed, displaying storyboards, scripts, and panels of the ending illustration that became a topic on social media.

A digital stamp rally is also being held, where visitors search for secret gadgets that Doraemon dropped in the “Harappa” (field) area. By scanning QR codes placed around the museum, the rally begins. Participants must find the gadgets scattered in the field and photograph them correctly with their smartphone camera. Collecting all gadgets rewards an original image (three types, random).

On the third-floor “Harappa” area, a new monument of Chimpui has been added. To mark the 15th anniversary, a new original anime short has been prepared, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the world of Fujiko F. Fujio’s works.

At the first-floor Museum Shop, exclusive merchandise will be available, including the official exhibition catalog, original postcard set (first period), secret gadget sticker set, a wrap-around cold-keeping handkerchief (Time Furoshiki), and clear files.
