Tamagotchi is joining forces with Mos Burger for a limited-edition summer collaboration. The “2026 Summer Lucky Bag” (5,000 yen) will be available for online pre-order starting July 1, 2026, and includes exclusive merchandise along with meal vouchers worth the purchase price.
A Nostalgic Partnership
Tamagotchi first launched on November 23, 1996, as a portable digital pet and sparked a massive craze across Japan. Over the years, new series with added features have been released both domestically and internationally, with cumulative worldwide shipments exceeding 103 million units as of March 2026 (according to Bandai). The latest model, “Tamagotchi Paradise,” debuted in July 2025 and continues to be beloved by fans around the globe.
Mos Burger’s annual summer lucky bag, the “Summer Lucky Bag,” now features Tamagotchi for the first time. The collaboration uses original artwork that blends the world of Tamagotchi Paradise with Mos Burger menu items, resulting in a cheerful and vibrant design.
What’s Inside the Bag
The “2026 Summer Lucky Bag” contains four exclusive items perfect for summer outings and everyday use:
- Tamagotchi Insulated Tote Bag – A large-capacity tote that can hold a 500ml plastic bottle upright.
- Mametchi Mesh Pouch – A mesh pouch with a charm on the zipper, making contents easy to see.
- Kuchipatchi Peek-a-Boo Patch Towel – A foldable towel that fits neatly into a child’s pocket when folded.
- Tamagotchi Round Case Set (2 pieces) – Two cases with different designs, useful for storing food or small items.
Additionally, the bag includes meal vouchers equivalent to the purchase price (500 yen × 10 tickets), usable at Mos Burger stores nationwide from August 3 to October 31, 2026.
Order and Pickup Details
The Tamagotchi collaboration “2026 Summer Lucky Bag” is available for online reservation from July 1, 2026 (Wednesday) at 15:00 until July 30, 2026 (Thursday), while supplies last. Pickup will be from August 3 (Monday) to August 11 (Tuesday, holiday) at participating Mos Burger locations nationwide (excluding some stores).
Meal vouchers are valid at all Mos Burger stores (except dome, theme park, and university campus locations) and cannot be used with online orders, delivery services, self-checkout, or table ordering. Multiple vouchers can be used per transaction, but no change is given for amounts under 500 yen.
